A Team Boys edge Mustangs B, 6-3The A team posted their third victory with a win over Mustangs B, yesterday at Oakcrest MS. An early school departure
from Mesa Verde gave us plenty of time to warm up and go over some strategies, but the game got off to a slow start as we
struggled to control the ball. First half scoring came from Cook, Goehring, Durso and Ketcham, with two assists by Skolnick
and one from Abutin. At halftime the score stood 4-2. Lupin got the second half off to a quick start with an unassisted
goal just 42 seconds into the 3rd quarter and Millard wrapped up the Tigers scoring with a goal in the 4th, assisted by Skolnick.
The defense was once again a decisive factor and nearly contributed to the scoring with full field clears by Alexander and
Coughlin. Goalie Brown, once again, was superb with 7 saves. -- Coach Ed

No Win against RB but a Great Game! The girls played a great game against RB with a final score of something like 9 to 13, with RB taking the win. This was
probably most challenging and most physical game of the season, and the Tigers performed admirably. After a slow start
for PQ and some quick goals by RB, our girls rallied and answered with a few goals in a row. The second half started with
RB having a larger than 4 point lead, but the Tigers rallied again to close the gap before the end of the game. From
a spectator standpoint, this was a very fast paced game that covered the entire field pretty much the whole game. The parents
are very proud of this team and the improvement and growth it has shown. Keep up the hard work girls! Remember, it is not
just about winning or losing, but how you play the game!

Girls season is off to a great start!Entering our last game in October, the girls have won 2 games and lost 1. Pretty darn good considering there are a lot
of new players and also a new head coach! Coach Monica is doing a great job, as well as Kayla and Alia. Kudos
to you all!
