The Boys season for the PQ Lacrosse Club typically starts in February and runs through the beginning
of June. It is considered a Spring league. Some of the teams we play are: Bonita, Tierra Santa, Poway, and La Jolla to name
a few. Our league is supported by the US Lacrosse Association. Part of the fees paid to play in this club go toward a membership to this association.
The PQ
Boys league is a feeder to Westview and Mt. Carmel High Schools. It is an ideal way for kids in our community to learn and
perfect the sport of lacrosse in preparation for high school. We welcome all levels of players to join our organization. Boys
lacrosse is a contact sport, but the required safety equipment keeps our kids safe and healthy. All those who play should
be prepared to run and work hard to improve their own skills and physical health.
The sign
up fee also includes a pair of team shorts, which you keep, but you must provide the rest of the equipment need to playlLacrosse.
This includes stick, helmet, gloves, arm/shoulder pads, cleats, mouthpiece, and an athletic cub supporter. Expect to pay around
$200 to get a full set of new equipment for lacrosse. Many second hand sporting goods stores have used lacrosse gear if you
are looking for a less expensive way to get started
